25th Championship Show
30th MARCH 2013
Judge : T Parrotti (USA)
"Members of American Staffordshire Terrier Club of NSW,
Let me say that it was an honor for me to judge your 25th Anniversary show. The overall entry displayed true Am Staff character and type. I am pleased to say that most entries were moderate in type. Most entries displayed moderate type. Being a judge from the United States, it is unusual for me to see this breed with a natural ear. I will say that the transformation was not difficult. As you all gathered i pay particular attention to heads and fronts. I am please to say that a high percentage of entires had good to very good heads and fronts. I also did not see many splade toes. Most all had tight toes with solid feet.
Handling was good. A few exhibitors need a bit more confidence in the ring but this will come in time. Even the puppy classes showed that these entires were worked with and were familiar with basic ring procedure. A very good thing to see.
Also, and not to be taken lightly is the wonderful display of sportsmanship. There was not one exhibitor that did not display support and interest in a fellow exhibitor. ALl members deserve credit for this virtue."

Best in Show and Runner-up Best in Show:
I would be remiss if I did not speak to both of these winners. Both were presented to perfection. Both moderate and displayed true Am Staff temperament. As a judge, one must make the decision on the day....on this day I selected the dog for BIS. I look forward to the future for both of these Am Staff.
Thanks for this wonderful opportunity.
